The England 6-a-side team to be based at GOALS

GOALS are delighted to announce that they'll be the home of elite 5, 6 and 7-a-side football for the foreseeable future.

The England 6-a-side team will be based at GOALS Heathrow and will begin their preparations at GOALS Heathrow on Sunday March 17^th for their appearance in the EMF Euros in Sarajevo this coming June 2024.

This partnership is perfectly timed to give the team the best opportunity to build on their record-breaking performance at the 6-a-side World Cup in the UAE in 2023.

England will play in a purpose built 6-a-side Stadium in Sarajevo in June and all of their games will be televised across the world.

GOALS will be giving our loyal customers an opportunity to take part in trials to play for England and represent their country at these international competitions, the games are planned to be screened live across all GOALS venues giving family and friends of our teams the opportunity see them play on live on TV.

I believe elite small-sided football is a sleeping giant here in the UK and we are determined to give our loyal customers amazing opportunities to play on TV, in stadiums and give amateur players a professional experience.

These international competitions are sanctioned by The European Minifootball Federation and The World Minifootball Federation who are recognised by most of the world’s National Federations as the leading authority in the small-sided game.

The EMF, WMF, GBMFU and our strategies are all aligned with the English FA’s and UEFA’s strategy to grow the amateur game and give grassroots players unique and life changing opportunities."
